Have you ever been up north to a barn to feed or even spend the afternoon riding horses and thought to yourself… wow this would be a great place to have a wedding? Well, unfortunately most barns don’t allow this sort of thing. But not in this case! Welcome to Nikki’s barn, this place has everything you have dreamt of and more. We just photographed a full ceremony and captured an entire park shoot at this location a few weeks ago and the grounds are absolutely stunning. Check out some of the images we managed to post here on our blog from this young couples wedding day. As a Toronto wedding photo and video studio, we love venturing out into the country and coming back with some eye opening images. Please contact the studio to see more photos from this wedding and others similar to it. Congratulations to Cheyenne + Andrew on tying the knot!!!
Love shooting in the depth of a lush green forest. As a photographer we always aim to photograph in the shade as the images become more vibrant and the clients are less aggravated with bright light causing shadows underneath their eyes. Here is a perfect example of what can be done on a bright sunny hot day as the bride and groom are positioned in the midst of a dark romantic forest. As the photo and video team create magical images, the clients are always staying cool…
Have you ever wondered on how to capture the wedding rings in a photograph on your wedding day? Here is a very cool idea that we came up with a few years ago! You can use your favorite book or even a large magazine to recreate this super cool photo. Just make sure the pages are a thicker stock so that they stay when you fold them inward. To create the depth you see in this photograph, we used a pop of strobe from the back, it creates a bit of shadow and brings the rings to the foreground to create this almost 3D effect. The heart shape created from the arch of the pages also adds some creativity in this photograph. This image was captured in the heart of downtown Toronto at the beautiful Hotel X on the Lakeshore. They have a super cool library there with a variety of books to choose from when doing this photograph.
What are some great places to photograph in the city of Toronto most brides ask us. Here is a sneak peak of an engagement shoot we just did downtown Toronto the other day of this lovely couple Ashley + Danny. On University Ave down town Toronto you will find some amazing spots filled with architectural aw! Check out this photo from the front of the Canada Life building. The fifteen-floor Beaux Arts building was built by Sproatt & Rolph and stands at 285 feet, 321 feet (97.8 m) including its weather beacon. It is located at University and Queen Street in the city’s downtown core.
Guests were drooling over our Bride’s gorgeous Kleinfeld Canada wedding gown this past weekend. Here are a few sneak peaks from the Toronto condo’s 29th floor + the uber hot Mint studios located in the Junction area. When posting on our IG feed, Mark Piotrowski (owner of Quarum) tagged Jessica Mulroney to share how incredible the dress looked. It was Jessica approved!!! Mrs. Mulroney even re-posted the image on her story line for her 250K viewers to enjoy! Thanks Jessica for supporting what we do. Congratulations to Ina + George on this beautiful wedding day…
