The large columns and the brilliant architecture is a key setting when shooting photos downtown Toronto at Osgood hall. With so many hidden jems within this one location, not only is the client wowed by the surroundings, but as a professional photographer we are always blown away at how creative we can get at this place. Clothing and personality also make a huge difference. The proper set of clothes make or break a photo shoot. If your wondering on what type of clothing to wear for your next engagement shoot, here are some tips to consider. 1) Wear something that your super comfortable in. Comfort is key so that when you are placed in a difficult pose at least you wont be concentrating on the difficulty and pain of that pair of pants ridding up your… you know what. With a professional shoot the photographer will ask you to sit, dip, lift, piggy back and so much more. Consider this when choosing your outfit. Also, Don’t be afraid to spend the money on cool clothes especially the ones you will love forever. 2) Personality is key… Make sure your well rested and hydrated from the night before so that you can arrive at the location a bit earlier to feel the vibe and calm your nerves and just have some time to walk around and unwind before the shoot. We as photographers find that most couples rush to a shoot causing them to stress for the first little while. Don’t do it! We want you to have a blast!! Personality also means, have fun during the shoot. Pretend the camera is not there, fall in love with yourselves and pretend its your first date and how excited you both were when you first met. This will help you relax and keep the photographer excited about whats happening. Check out this fun photo…
Love the early morning of the Distillery Historic District before all the crowds start to rush in and all the shops slowly begin to open. The lighting is just right as the sun slowly starts to rise. Check out this fun location which kinda reminds me of china town downtown Toronto. Fall colours are around the corner, but in the meantime we are still entertaining other locations. Book your engagement shoot today and ask us about the fun locations we have in mind for your next shoot.

Are you looking for Fall colour ideas… Here is a fun photo of a shoot we did just a while ago. The trick in achieving this image is to shoot as wide open as possible. For instance , this image was captured and shot with an 85mm 1.4 Nikon Lens. This helps create the fall off in the background creating the distance and selective focus on the leaf.
